Possum really likes her, and their friendship is adorable, but something’s off with her and it sets a nice mood. Owlpounce interpreted the sign wrong, but I think that this is way better for mudpaw's fate. starclan wanted for MicaClan to know about what mudpaw has done, and the clan would possibly punish him, or even exile him or something and he would have even more anger and hate in himself than ever before, making him true evil. mudpaw now needs support more than ever, he knows that he did a very wrong thing and wants to "redeem" himself. with being a med cat apprentice, he can cool down a little bit from warrior life and can actually redeem himself by serving as a med cat apprentice to the clan (maybe saving someone's life? since he has taken wrentail's life, he has to save someone else's to redeem, i think)
